Beat Hee-Won Han in one hole playoff
Gloria had not been playing all that well coming into this event. In the third round, however, she was absolutely unstoppable, setting a new course record with a blistering 63 that left her with a share of the lead. Playing in the final group on Sunday, she outlasted Annika Sorenstam, while Hee-Won Han caught her. However, Han missed a six footer on 18 to win outright, and lost to Gloria in the ensuing playoff. This marked the second consecutive week two Koreans finished in the top three in a tournament; the next week it would happen again!
