Hee-Won Han climbed into a share of the lead after the second round. By the end of the third round it was a two woman race, as Meg Mallon caught Han at 11 under after birdieing her last four holes. They were 5 shots clear of their nearest pursuers. Han took an early lead of at times four shots on Sunday, but consecutive bogeys on 13 and 14 knocked her down to a 2 shot lead. However, she would not make another mistake, and held on to win, avenging her playoff loss to Gloria Park at this same event in 2002.
