Capsule Bio

Jeong Mee Hwang turned pro in May of 2017. She made it to the big tour in 2020 and finished 4th in the Rookie of the Year race that year. She had a decent year, finishing 43rd on the money list. Her best finish was a 9th place.

Jeong Mee played a little worse in 2021, 65th on the money list with 111 million won earned. But she kept her tour card for 2022.

2022 was Hwang's breakout year. Her first big moment came in May, when she finished 2nd at the NH Ladies Championship, by far her career best result. She had a second runner up finish later in the year at the Hoban before breaking through with her first career win at the EDaily Ladies Open in September. In all, Hwang had the win, the two runner-up finishes and a 4th and earned over 446 million won, 16th on the money list.

Hwang's finish earned her a chance to play on the LET at the 2023 Saudi Ladies International event in Saudi Arabia in February. She finished tied for 56th.

Hwang had a good season on the KLPGA in 2023. She finished 31st on the money list with 334 million won earned. She didn't get a win, but did have a second and a third place finish and five total top tens.

In 2024, Hwang again played at the Aramco event in Saudi Arabia, this time outside the capital of Riyadh. She finished t-35th.
