JJ had a little more fun in Daejeon. Next, she
went to the City Hall, where the Mayor gave her another award. Somewhere
along the line, she also picked up the other award you see here. |

Jeong Jang also got a chance to meet with another
sports celebrity in South Korea. The lady is boxer Joo Hee Kim, who holds
one of the world championship belts in one of the weight classes in women's
boxing. She is quite popular in Korea because she is (at least for the moment)
fairly attractive (you never know how long that will last in boxing!).Here,
she and JJ pose for the camera, reciting 'Fighting!' as their battle cry. |

Later that week, Jeong got yet another treat.
She got the chance to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Korean league
baseball game. She is not the first Korean woman golf star to get this honor;
last year, both Soo Yun Kang and Shi Hyun Ahn went through this ritual.
I believe the team she is doing this for is her hometown team in Daejeon.
